“Sri Gogineni kanakaiah Oriental Degree Collegel” is in Tadikonda, Guntur Dt. Andhra Pradesh. It is giving its services in the rural areas which is Identified by the UGC as academically backward region.
The first educational institution in Tadikonda is the S.V.V. High school founder/started in 1944. The management of the high school floated this oriental college in 1968. The correspondent of High School Sri Vidwan Gogineni Kanakayya take the initiative of starting this college. He being Vidwan from Madras Univesity established this college, with the objective of popularising oriental studies and regional languages teachings. The college continues its march under the guidance of the founder.
Later in 1995 Language Teaching (Telugu Pandit Section) was started with the permission of the Commioner & Director of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
